Step inside Mamma’s kitchen, evoking warm, cozy, comforting vibes. A place to pull up a stool drink wine and eat the best homemade pasta, pizza and Italian specialties in town.
Utilizing the existing bones and grounding elements Maximalist transformed the Bar Dough restaurant space. This refresh project took months of planning and selections but the restaurant could only be shut down for seven days to build out the space with new lighting, paint, custom wallpaper, gallery wall, back bar, host stand and outdoor patio.
Sourcing found objects and accessories from used vintage reclaimed pieces, giving the space a residential, warm inviting space.
The custom wallpaper in the dining room is inspired by a vintage tapestry. Wallpaper motifs in each restroom represent all of Mamma’s favorite things - butterflies, birds and flowers.
