Shinesty

Denver Headquarters

Shinesty, home of the outrageous party clothing and themed party apparel, needed a headquarters that matched their spirit.

Embracing the weird, we pushed the boundaries to create an office that reflects play hard spirit of the Shinesty brand and mantra to “Stay Weird and Shine On”.

Maximalist envisioned a place to collaborate, inspire, create, and gather. It was inspired by Shinesty's mission "To force the world to take itself less seriously" and brand DNA that is cheeky, fun, and irreverent. We took literally to celebrate life's moments while giving functional space disguised as living rooms, conversation pits, and cabanas. The design pays homage to “clothing that likes to party” through a '70s playhouse, inspired by the bright, bold colors, patterns, and playful sense of humor. The result: a one-of-a-kind space that is as outrageous as the party apparel they design.

Pool Party

Put on your Shinesty shades because the signature Scott Young neon is bright as the sun. The cabana's lining the pool party lounge give staff comfy chairs and collaboration space.

Product Development Work Room - where all the magic happens . We're talking pre/post-coital party kimonos, ball hammock boxer briefs, denim-print swimwear, neon ski suits, the original Christmas Suit, and a cornucopia filled with oh, so much more.

In a new era of the workplace, staff are primarily remote and don't require a true "workspace." The prerequisite was to make it a space that staff would want to come back to after hours, providing:

Work stations for local employees.

A work room for product development.

A satellite photo studio.

Each room is equipped with a laptop workstation
